I think everything is finally starting to catch up with me. I've slept so much and started to disassociate again 😒
super quick doodle to kind of get back into the hang of drawing it's hard to believe it’s already been two weeks since my dad passed away. sometimes it feels like an eternity has passed, and other times, it hits me like it just happened yesterday
When I saw my dad on Wednesday he was so concerned with how I was doing after my hospital stay. The first thing he did was ask how I was feeling. He was doing so well and it all feels so unreal
I'm finally able to visit my dad in the hospital today and we both started crying as soon as we saw each other 😭 We got admitted on the same day but he's still in the icu
I joked with someone that I've used up all my good fortune for the year after getting out of the hospital. Last night my partner made me open a fortune cookie and there was no fortune inside
Just saw my doctor and he thinks I might be able to go back home today. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but it'll be nice to not be tethered to an iv and see my kitties again
My doctors are erring on the side of caution and I'm going to be staying in the hospital another day. At least they're going to let me try something other than liquids today
A lot of what I draw comes in sporadic moments that are few and far between, and often I find myself unable to depict the colours or textures that I have in my mind in those rare moments.
Someone suggested that I'd do the mii dog instead of the mug bulldog, that mf a genius.
