I’ve noticed a huge uptick in the very realistic potrayals of anxiety , depression, and panic attacks in tv and film.. even in music, now that i think about it. They’re gonna write so many thinkpieces about us in the future

This article is confusing and. First of all the person they’re reporting had recent contact with ANOTHER Virginia resident who ALSO contracted dengue while traveling overseas. However, they’re also now saying they both contracted it locally even though dengue is not common in the US

Saw someone on threads saying they were a 40 year old writer who had just discovered the “ different” between “compliment” and “complement” and it .. made me think many many things.
I need to read more because I would like to write more and I don’t think the things I’m currently reading are conducive to becoming a better writer
The way he is physically presenting coupled w/ him being willfully obtuse about what “ social power” actually is leaves me questioning exactly how this has actually benefited him other than being able to laud his adjacency to whiteness. He is clearly not better off nor wiser for this perspective.
