This is exactly why I struggle with this genre. Puzzles have clear answers, but deduction often feels too ambiguous. #boardgames #puzzles #deduction

#BoardGames advent calendar day 11 - Holiday Heist -play a deduction game. Today, we played Hunt a Killer:Dead Below Deck. Like most of these, we solved all the puzzles, hidden codes, etc., but still got the killer wrong because we still couldn’t put together the “clues” to make a cohesive story.

i've been researching escape games for fun, and it's interesting to learn that japanese flash developers were at the forefront of this genre. so i wanted to go beyond Crimson Room and see if there's any resources that could shine some light. and uh, i found this massive website: www.no1game.net

Plenty of power cuts today, so what better way to start the day than being cosy in bed with a latte, and a round of Voyages ⛵ We love these single-sheet print and play games, makes it super easy to play in different settings! ( Not our best scores, but we had fun 😊 ) #BoardGames

Two completed games of the print and play board game Voyages, which has been laminated and played using a clipboard. The game sheets show the map on which we play, and the path that each respective player decided to take. As it's the end of the game, we see Christian scored 70, and Joana 59.
