I wish Etsy didn’t become the awful thing it became because man did it function really well at its peak. I know you can still make good money on it, probably, but the fees and increasing Amazon-ish push were what made me ditch

One of the best kept secrets in houseplants….. African violets. They come in sizes from mini to standard, sit right on the sill and if you keep them in a self watering pot it takes off so much work. I love them

Stephne Tate@quailtea.bsky.social · 4w agoI do think at some point the indie merch community will have to contend with how fanart is not a safe way to build a brand, and how fanart merch is only allowed by grace of god (meaning companies turning a blind eye.) We all dislike corporations, but that doesn’t protect you from their legal teams
