But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. @olivia.science how does one respond constructively, without expletives, to someone simulating humans in ChatGPT to "develop better policy options for justice and sustainability"? (Janne M. Korhonen in case he blocks me. Wouldn't even blame him, my responses seem unhinged. Men like him trigger me.)

Tuning an #LLM to respond like a particular human or a group is a legit idea that interests not only marketing companies but academic researchers too. (Me, for one.) And the results can be *surprisingly* good. Like 85% accurate. (Thread.)

Hard disagree. Children and adults can and do enjoy a lot of the same things. What we *do* need to get better about casting off, though, is stuff that upon reflection is actually pure shit. Like stories where a girl gets ridiculed for wanting to abolish slavery and the hero ends up being chief cop

As a bone fide biologist, let me say that the UK High Court has just demonstrated that it doesn't know *fuck* about human biology. Or what the word "biological" even means. Also, I kinda wish I *weren't* a biologist, because if I was a rocket scientist, I could fire JK Rowling into the fucking sun
