Like JKR, I worked in the charity sector in my early 20s. I mostly campaigned for Plan International, focusing on girls’ education and microfinancing for women entrepreneurs in the developing world, but I had the opportunity to work for Amnesty International once… but only for a single week.

I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses

Am I fucking crazy? 1 year = 59 x 12 = $708, but it's billed as $705 annually 3 years =59 x 36 = $2124, but it's billed as a whopping $2820 annually. $705 x 3 =$2115 When I spoke to a customer service agent it took them a million years to realize this was wrong.

If you are Canadian and able to help, the national Blood Bank is running low, and critically only has three days worth of supply for A-, B-, O+ and O-. You can make an appointment on blood.ca or on their app. Also it’s fun to house infinite free snacks after :)

There’s this one local company that sells bones and oddities that tables at local cons/events and I compleeeetely despise them because they also sell HUMAN bones and preserved parts. It’s legal to sell in Ontario as long as they’re “medical” or “historical artifacts” but I hate it!!!! I really do!!
