Web development fucked. Design fucked. Freelancing fucked. Content creation fucked. Education fucked Blogging fucked. Dev rel fucked. Hard to find a purpose in this brave new world.

You know. I hope this triggers the AI-pilled. This is so true about a lot of AI that supposedly will "change the game." You end up coddling the AI and holding its hand to the point that you're taking longer to do a task you could have done yourself. "Don't get left behind" pfft. Whatever.

Design systems have always intrigued me, but they are something that I don't have any experience with, so, I've teamed up with someone who does have that experience!, @michaelwarren.dev! It's still early days, but if you want updates as we work on it, sign up here: thecascade.dev/courses/desi...

Shoutout to Regal Cinemas! Trip to the movies to see Mario Galaxy. Tix for 2 adults, 2 kids: $70. Snacks: $45. My wife and I shared a drink, kids shared a drink, and we got one of their “combo deals”. So if anyone at Regal is confused as to why movie theaters are dying…that’s why.
