I don't think any Splatoon meta has actively made me want to not play or stream the game it's just not fun and it doesn't get much better in the other modes
This may be a hot take but I feel the splatoon community is more emotionally weak than other communities. Like we will get offended way more by insignificant things. Maybe it's just low level but if you want to succeed in any game (especially in the competitive scene) you need to have thick skin

Im considering leaving the splatoon community for some time I still want to play with my team, but I'm not sure if I want to be in the wider community anymore I always make ppl uncomfortable and I hate the silence that occurs thar tells me I fucked up and there's no going back
I don't like how people in the splatoon community tell me that I'm gonna become trans or gay or something (im straight, born he/him and use he/him). Like don't tell someone what their gender is or is gonna be. I had hoped that this community of all people would know that. #splatoon #splatoon3
