"Keepers of the Overflow"

“The Moor Fire Above Indian’s Head” (Dovestone, Saddleworth) Smoke from fires around Dovestone, Carbrook & Tintwistle hanging across the area this morning. Thinking of all the nesting birds, wildlife and habitats caught in it. It inspired this today. Huge respect to everyone tackling the fires. 🖤

Throwback Thursday, back to 1993. Not original art this time, but a recreation. The #CardboardCatsChallenge reminded me I used to turn paper chatterbox / fortune tellers into little animal puppets. Tonight I relearned the folds and made a black Harrowden cat. Maybe not much has changed. 🖤🐈

Pat Krupa's beautiful little monument has made its way from Berlin to Manchester. Raw steel. Concrete. Light. Somewhere between a lamp, a sculpture and a tiny industrial monument. Only two were ever made, and I'm incredibly lucky to have one of them. Huge thanks, Pat. ❤️
