hey you. artist using clip studio paint or similar. you're gonna go make a brush out of whatever you usually like sketching with. you're gonna set the pressure curve to this. inverted. so the harder you press the thinner a line you get. now go doodle with it and see if that feels fun.

When I was younger, I didn't use ad blockers at first. I was kind of aware of them, but didn't realize their importance yet. Then I got a virus on my laptop from an ad on a site I thought I could trust. I was like "okay, adblocker time, I'm never going without these again."

I feel like people have forgotten that ad blockers weren't popular because people just wanted to get something for free, it's because we can't trust ads not to fuck up our computers. If we still just had quiet simple banner ads or sideboard ads, ad blockers wouldn't have gotten as much traction.

I sketched this last month on Yuri Day, and only now just finally got around to finishing it. The day is long past, but these two have been at this for hours. I don't think they have any plans to stop any time soon, either. We should probably just leave them to it. #art #yuri

Also, even if you're "not good" at art, if you have the desire, draw anyway. I've seen some *great* ideas come from less experienced artists. Plus, you're not the best judge of it; lots of artists who say they're "not good" turn out to actually be really good. Looking at you, @ratley.bsky.social
