No joy so far. Called multiple times over the week. No update so going to the fucking ER. You'd think a patient presenting any form of sensory loss and symptoms that indicate something as potentially serious as Incomplete Cauda Equina they'd get on this shit. Fuck. I see why Luigi did that.🎯

Doctor: okay so I suspect a potentially serious spinal issue and am going to order an MRI and refer you to a neurologist The American Medical System: Please wait another week while we smoke over your 'urgent' prior authorization while you risk permanent nerve damage without care. Uhh take a Tylenol
So I've been experiencing a rather concerning progressive pelvic nerve issue. I've tried changing habits, exercises and stretches... for weeks... no joy. Really affecting everything down there at this point. I'm scared what it might be but I'm getting help. Will keep you posted.
Good news: I can have my surgery in as soon as 4 weeks. Bad News: Oral surgeons (in CA) aren't in network with any *medical* plans. Need to take out a 47K loan to pay in full up front. Claim is submitted afterwards and insurance hopefully covers half. Leaves me on the hook for the rest.
Haven't been around much. We had an unexpected loss in the family. It's rough and a horrible situation... that's all I can really say. Just trying to parse things where they stand and move forward. Have things to tend to back in my hometown. I'm okay and I'll be around when I'm back on track.
I get asked a lot about what my routine is so here's condensed que cards of what my days look like. A main group a day (yes I do shoulders on their own day) and I throw in core on my days off twice a week. My leg routine is dogshit bc hip issues and nerve bullshit so maybe ask someone else...
The first couple months of this year were packed with ups, downs, and stress on stress. There's a break in it all finally and I've just been trying to get a grip and handle it. Working hard. In 6-10 weeks, barring insurance bullshit and hospital booking, I get my long awaited double jaw surgery.
