My statement following today's debate and vote at conference on the motion Zionism Is Racism:

Greens have set the political agenda this year, and we'll continue to push Labour to cut people's bills and protect our planet. Here's me speaking to the News Agents about the Green Party's influence on Labour over the past year.

Privatisation of water has been an absolutely unmitigated disaster. The Green Party would put water back into public hands and reverse years of radical underinvestment.

Greens in power deliver for communities and nature. It was fantastic to help open the Wealden Community Sports hub. In Wealden we're delivering for our rural communities, families and young people. I can't wait to see how much it'll bring to our special part of the world.

The UK needs a cap on political donations to ensure we serve people, not profit. The Green Party is holding Burnham to account - it's time he gets serious about undemocratic donations from the ultra rich.

Labour and Burnham have been silent on capping political donations while Reform gets £72 million from Farage's billionaire mates. We need @zackpolanski.bsky.social in Parliament to hold Labour to account, not another Labour backbencher to wave through Burnham's policies without scrutiny.

While Burnham fails to act on the climate crisis and Reform outright denies it, the Daily Mail spreads misinformation about the tragic wildfires we're facing. Only the Green Party will seriously tackle climate change. Nationalise water. Invest in renewables. Climate action now.
