I am pretty confidant I was safe as possible during travel and didn't catch any viruses or anything but then I was greeted at my parents' house by my mom sick and two niblings sniffling and coughing everywhere so lol we'll see what happens I guess

according to my mom, every single time she went into the room, day or night, Ori got up to look at her. He doesn’t ever do that at home so I think he was looking for me 😭

the way literally all three of my sugar gliders went “hi. oh you’re not gonna let us out? nvm bye” 😭 Ori made a break for it as soon as I opened the door to say hi so i snatched him and put him back and now he’s looking at me like i am a prison warden

i got back to atlanta and got on the gold line train and was immediately greeted by an old man cutting up with the employee cleaning up the train, GOD i missed this place!!

I was so excited to eat so many things this trip but high key i think I am too good of a cook. nearly everything I’ve had I would change or make better. the best thing I had was hot pot my friend took me to and that is literally a place where you cook yourself and make your own dipping sauce 😭

cool as it is to use such a robust subway in nyc I gotta say it was kind of shocking how inaccessible most of it felt. So few stations had elevators or escalators. Super jarring considering how many people in wheelchairs and with canes/walkers I see every day on MARTA. We’re doing one thing right

I am on my second of three Amtrak trips and it really drives home how much of tsa is theater that does literally nothing except cause stress and make you feel like a criminal. the train is so far superior and more comfortable in every way. we could have this, america. we could.
