It seems people are often afraid of liking their own art work due to the worry of being perceived as egotistical or conceited, but you can still love your work and have a huge driving force behind that acting as a love for learning and improving. You can be proud and seek joy while you grow.

This + get a big grip for your pen! Even if it has an "ergonomic" grip! Having something bigger to hold onto will save your wrist! I cut up a pen grip so it could fit around my Huion kamvas pen and it's such a lifesaver

underrated advice that i wish i'd figured out way earlier in my digital art life: if your drawing software lets you adjust your pen pressure so you can make more varied line weights without using a lot of pressure, DO IT!!! cut off the end of that pressure curve!!!
