A CB and Ham Radio operator getting back to the radio hobby after more than 40 years away. I'm also a radio tech enthusiast and a SW listener. Call sign: 31PT55 on 11 meters DX 73 #CitizenBandRadio #FreeBand #ShortWaveRadio #HF #DX #AmateurRadio

Seems Legit... 😏 But CB these days, at least here in Europe is not such an anarchy as it is in the US, there are a few twats but the people are normally nice and some are on it only for the DX just like any Ham operator... I've returned after 40+years away from the hobby and I'm loving it...! πŸ‘πŸ“ΆπŸ“»πŸŽ™οΈπŸŽ§

91EK260 in Java/Indonesia on USB with 5/8. πŸ‘ Not bad considering the high S6 QSB/QRM. Now I'm just waiting to compare it when I change for a new proper RF 287 UF 7mm coaxial cable next month. I'm going to make some upgrades on the antenna by installing a surge protector and new quality cable... πŸ‘

In the modern age of telecommunications cables are still the most reliable and fast way for the Internet communications... Here is a great site that shows live international traffic on all the submarine cables around the world...!

This is my dream antena to use here at my position due to ocasional high winds were a conventional directional antenna suffers a lot... The Old Super Scanner 3 elements directional vertical. Amazing tech from the late 70's that unfortunately no one makes any more... Maybe I can DIY one myself πŸ€”
