It’s almost Election Day! 🗳️📢 On Monday June 1st and Tuesday June 2nd, our volunteers will be hitting the streets just like we’ve been doing all campaign…only this week, we’re coming straight to voting centers all over Los Angeles! Voting is the bare minimum we can do to make our voices heard.

LA deserves a mayor who will fiercely protect its residents and combat the dangers related to public safety in the city. That means no cooperation with anybody that violates the rights of Angelenos. No tracking or surveillance. No LAPD assisting ICE.

We all love our Olympians, but decision-making around the Olympics shouldn't be a closed-door deal between developers, the IOC, and city insiders. Vote Rae Huang for LA Mayor for transparency and advocacy for LA residents during the Olympic Games.

The Olympics infrastructure is already leading to new transit, new jobs, global attention, and funding for our city. This money could be allocated to  * Olympic infrastructure investment in underserved neighborhoods * Transit improvement that serve every day commuters year round - not just for tourists during the games  * Small business support programs to help vendors thrive during the games * Affordable housing protections to prevent displacement  * Long-term community investment funded by Olympic revenue This is the sort of Olympics that LA deserves - but this starts with knowing where our dollars are going. In other host cities - Olympic money has actually flowed away from residents and been pocketed by insiders, with policing surges, heavy displacement, cities left in crippling debt, and Olympic corruption. Past Olympic host cities (LA84, Salt Lake City, Rio, Tokyo) faced corruption scandals involving bribery, insider contracts, bid-rigging, or misuse of public funds. Not a single games since 1984 has turned a profit.  Examples: Rio cost $20 billion, Sydney went 90% over budget. The City of LA agreed to cover the first $270 million in losses if the Games run over budget. If costs significantly exceed expectations, public agencies and taxpayers could end up absorbing additional financial burdens. And LA28’s budget has already grown substantially since the original bid process while key reimbursement and cost-sharing agreements with the city remain unaddressed. This would directly cost LA residents.
