Tonight’s lunar #eclipse from #Pittsburgh. At times like these I start thinking about getting a real camera (rather than iPhone). This was almost full eclipse, only a sliver glowing, but the camera pulls in too much light.

Hiked Ricketts Glen today, saw 18 of the 24 waterfalls in the park. Did a loop staring at Beach #2 parking, was almost 6 miles. Waterfall sized range from 9 to 94 feet. This is Ozone falls at 57 feet.

Tonight, I saw the Quantum Theater production of The Tempest at Carrie Furnance #Pittsburgh. Amazing production at an unusual venue and my chance to get up close night shoot of the furnace!!! #theater
Buttermilk Falls, Indiana County, PA taken today. Easy one hour drive from #Pittsburgh. Not much hiking at the falls so combine it with another place if you want to get your miles in!!! #waterfalls

Started at the Sheepskin Trail in Point Marion, PA which connects to the Mon River Rail Trail, WV, so I walked to another state today 😜 Beautiful shaded walk, but unfortunately, there’s a noisy power plant that I was not aware of! Recommend if you’re into engineering as there is also a lock and dam!
Tonight’s walk, because walking when the sun up is rough in this heatwave, revealed some interesting shadows created by the newly installed LED street lamps.
Despite the heat, had a nice walk on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail, starting at Saunders Station. Lovely shaded green along Turtle Creek.

Wonderful walk today on Ghost Town Trail starting at Dilltown and headed West. Quiet, mostly along Blacklick Creek, a couple bridges and restrooms at the parking lot! Worth the hour drive out of town.
Had a lovely walk through Schenley Park and past Phipps today, enjoyed this view of the Cathedral of Learning. #Pittsburgh #photography
