Train operator mainly working on the majestic Bergen Line in Norway. Posting content on youtube. Did I mention I'm a skydiver and drone pilot? Well, now you know.

@simflight-de.bsky.social The company that refuses to sell to Norway, claiming tax issues. The company that does not want to register with VEOC. The company that don't understand that the cost is passed on to the customer. Being the only company selling licenses for FSUIPC7... Monopoly much?

May is a really weird month, yesterday it was over 20°C outside and sun was shining. Today the wind was ice cold, temps were around 7°C and freaking snowing?!

2025 just keeps on giving. Not a single day with severe service disruptions. Bergen Line still closed, signaling failure on the Southline, aaaand, behold, the weather forecast for the Bergen line next week = hello more avalanches. Feels like Squid Games railway edition.

Was asked yesterday if I cold come to Oslo and operate a train out of there and onto the Southline. Freight is now shipped to Stavanger and put on trucks there because the Bergen line is closed for the foreseeable future.

Status Avalanche on the Bergen Line: The damage is extensive and there won't be any chance of reopening this weekend, the are aiming for a re-opening on Monday at noon. The trackbed had been moved. Weather to harsh to even weld in, machinery used to remove snow and snow shed needed maintenance

Bergen Line has been closed for two days now due to a severe avalanche between Myrdal and Hallingskeid stations. A snow shed in steel was destroyed, catenary torn down. Powerful machinery needed to remove steel and snow that has turned into "concrete". Might re-open late tomorrow evening, unsure.

Don't think there has been a single day so far in 2025 with massive service disruptions on the railway in Norway. LOL Everything from busted switches, minor derailments and severe icing on the catenary. It can only get better?

The plow is sniffing snow again. Well, at least until this weekend where the weather took a 450° turn and went complete slush and black ice mode. Chaos on the road, zen on the tracks, thankfully I'm feets high enjoying my last day off before I have to drive 422km/262miles to my relieve point.

Oh, I did a run on the South Line starting around midnight and driving into the sunrise. Nortic summers are great as it never really gets dark. As a bonus, we're going on the outside of the tunnels between Asker and Lysaker. #traindriver #Trainspotting youtu.be/S-UEmpeXIrM
