I made some sourdough pizza dough the other day. Jeff made a pizza this evening.

So, this is dinner. All made from scratch and some of the peppers are from my garden.

I made some small sourdough bread bowls for dinner. Jeff made Poblano and corn soup to go inside the bread bowls.

I have finally got my new sourdough starter where it needs to be. It started at 3 cups and now it is at 6, so it doubled in size. This is exactly where it should be. 🍞❤️🍞

I think I found the right way to make bread. I replaced the 2 cups water with 1.5 cups milk and feed the yeast in .5 cups warm water and .25 cups of honey. The bread is lighter and fluffy.

I did not talk much about yesterday, July 12. It's hard to believe it has been 10 years since my baby sister left this world. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her. She would be turning 47 in October if she were still with us. Mickey, you are still loved and I miss you so much.💔
