I am not cool so no voice samples from me, but Carlotta by default has a deep voice. She has a bit more energy here so her voice sounds a little more higher pitched, with bursts of energy when she gets passionate about something. Her tone pitches a lot when she drones on and on. #skycross

Day 4: Experiment A scene from the recent past, shortly after Carlotta awakened her siXth sense. Another simple piece. I knew I wanted some researchers in the foreground, but I’m not too happy with how boring this looks. I hope this sheds a bit of insight to Carlotta’s powers origins? #skycross

Since a young age, Carlotta had been instilled with many different values her parents wanted to uphold. Looking back at it, Carlotta regretted the honesty she valued when she expressed her discomfort to the researchers behind the glass. “There’s something wrong with my vision…” The researchers took it as a good sign that there was a change within the girl. They didn’t think it was concerning that the girl had pain in her eyes, nor were the flashes of gold in her vision something they had to remedy. To them, it was proof that something was growing within her, a change they had been hoping to trigger, but what it was, they weren’t sure just yet. To be certain, they had to run tests and experiments, putting her in scenarios to try to figure out what it was. From droning talks to simple tasks, to oddly specific instructions and quizzically comical demands. It had made sense to her to address the discomfort in her eyes, but that seemed neglected. Whether it was tolerance, or the pain eventually subsided, Carlotta didn’t know, but it was alarming how little they cared about her wellbeing, engrossed over the powers she might have awakened. Perhaps it was because she had spoken out that she was able to understand how her powers worked, the golden glow she saw changing and shifting targets with every new individual she came in contact with. It was only then that they could draw her own hypothesis, but perhaps even if she didn’t speak out, someone would have caught on, be it her own parents or other ESPers in her vicinity. Whatever she did, it was too late to regret. What was done was done, and what was learned was learned. Even if their experiment was successful, it didn’t stop anything. A new experiment started anew.
