Brother, there wont BE any porn from the US side if things like KOSA & SCREEN go into effect. And that's just one country! Proposed laws like these are popping up all over the world! It will be far too dangerous for any creator in the US who does ANY type of adult content to continue if those pass
Saw a post saying "I don't want NSFW accounts to talk about voting, just let me jack off" Buddy, NSFW artists and sex workers are being constantly attacked by a government of nonces trying to distract from their own crimes by pinning the blame on porn. They have the right to speak up about this.
We'd much rather be drawing! But it depends on being vocal about this. Drawing porn has allowed me to contribute meaningfully and consistently to my retirement fund for the first time in my life. These censorship bills will take away futures. Help us fight them.

Keep calling about KOSA! It passed committee. That doesn’t mean it passed the Senate. It’s on its way to the floor. #KillKOSA #Callyoursenators #1stAmmendment #Censorship #FreedomofSpeech
The Senate Commerce Committee just passed KOSA out of committee with zero debate & failed to move the SCREEN Act. punchbowl.news/article/tech...
SOME GOOD NEWS! continue to contact your reps re: KOSA and the KIDS Act, but also give yourself a pat on the back if you called! Your voice mattered!
SCREEN Act, which would have required mandatory age-verification for sites (like this) that allow "material harmful to minors" failed to pass out of committee after thousands and thousands of people called their Senators. More work ahead!
THIS IS WHY!!!! WE CALL!!! GREAT JOB EVERYONE 🩷 KOSA did pass the house but remember the senate has a conflicting version. Keep calling, it matters!

Anyone want to see the failed concept sketch of the original idea I had for this piece? No? Too bad. Mostly cause I like how the angle for Vixy turned out.
🧜♀️ A Meeting Behind Glass 🧜♀️ Once again, a lil late on posting, but this is a follow up to the anniversary piece as a birthday gift for my dear @matrixg.bsky.social <3
Once I finish one of the commissions I have almost done, I'm thinking of opening for some more wing-its.... Given everything happening in my life right now, I just feel like those would be better for my mental health in terms of work at the moment than full on commissions
And for the really bad news? They've put a target on VPNs. Sites are required to identify (and age-verify) any US citizen, regardless of whether they're using a VPN. In fact, the default is to get the ID and biometrics of EVERYONE unless you can somehow prove their not a US citizen.
"VPNs are a privacy and security tool used by millions of internet users every day, and their use should not be treated as suspect. It is particularly galling that the SCREEN Act forces users who intentionally take steps to protect their privacy to identify themselves."
What can you do? CALL. WRITE. SCREAM. The bill is up for a vote THIS WEDNESDAY. Call your Senator. Dem. Republican. Whomever. Right now, it's a solid R bill, but they're looking for Dems to take it across the finish line. Let them know how badly it stinks. www.defendonlineprivacy.com/screen/
Defend Online Privacy: Stop the SCREEN Act!
The Senate Commerce Committee will vote on the SCREEN Act on August 5. ACT NOW to stop it!

The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

Welp, I figured out, I think what caused it to die. My soundbar seems to be completely dead. I must have accidentally skipped testing it when I was making sure everything else was okay, and I haven't been on my pc like, at all since it happened so I only just tried to turn it on and nothing.
Power strip that holds like all my monitors and shit died and tripped the power, so I guess I'm taking the day off working until Soul gets home with a new one
lmfao at this article But this is why it's so important that we put all our energy into making sure these laws don't pass, because the people who spend years trying to pass censorship laws would rather die than admit that they were wrong and will just keep digging the hole avn.com/news/legal/u...

Hey.... like we said, age verification laws would be used as excuse to attack queer content, I just didn't expect it to be used this way, but hey more evidence for why you should be against it.
The Missouri Attorney General is threatening librarians with arrest over an LGBTQ+ story hour for kids, suggesting that a picture book about gay dinosaur dads is "pornography." The Secretary of State says he'll pull funding if the event happens, citing the state's new age verification law.

cw: cancer Some of you may remember me mentioning that my mother has cancer. We found out that, because of how its spread, where it is, how it's responded to medications, etc.. it's unfortunately terminal. Please bear with me if I take longer to answer any messages or anything
