My twenties at Manumission are full of night and after-hour morning memories like this and my most treasured possession was my Jacques Up red tee from Wall Of Sound 📚

Giving the Sky a try. First book On Tour is out now via Velocity Press. @defectedrecordsuk.bsky.social. All recycled and borrowed music opinions my own 🫖
I officially learned something new today 🫖
Judd Lander also plays harmonica on the Sprouts' 'Looking For Atlantis'.
Had a blast catching up with Calvin Bush at @woodstbear.bsky.social last night: the final On Tour book talk! Many thanks to everyone who came across town to hear us talk about One Dove, Daft Punk, Josh Wink & Bob Sinclar. Still can’t believe there’s a guy in Wood St who has 98 of the 99 issue run 📚
Old haunts, new perspective. This is where it all started for me, at Hatfield House on Stamford Street. Hope to see some of you at Wood Street Bear in Walthamstow tonight…!
Exactly one week to go until my final On Tour book talk with Calvin Bush and Jenny Twenty at Wood Street Bear in Walthamstow 📚
Madonna! Weller! Sasha! Digweed! And Duran Duran!!! Holy hell I need a day off ⭐️
Some of the best special effects eyeballs in the business. RIP Brian Johnson, dreamer of dreams maestro
RIP Special Effects master Brian Johnson (1939 - 2026). Some of the movies / TV Johnson worked on.
It’s a Kylie, Prince and Saint Etienne kind of week, meaning the very best kind 📚
This is a great thread and review and I agree with pretty much all of it! Emily Blunt is the MVP in Disclosure Day and this performance is up there with Edge Of Tomorrow 🫖
DISCLOSURE DAY - I definitely enjoyed it and you will too if you temper your expectations. It's not "best Spielberg in 20 years" and not quite close to his masterpieces. It's still a good conspiracy science fiction, where his passion for the subject of UFO really shines #film #review #DisclosureDay🎥
Had a really great time with Warpaint and Alexis from @hotchipofficial.bsky.social last night, thanks to Paul from LNT for getting me out of the house to Meltdown last-minute 📚

Had such a great time recording this month’s Voices show with Zainab! If you went to @dialledin.bsky.social last weekend, you’ll find much to reminisce over here on.soundcloud.com/JvZEztkjefc7... @ninjatunehq.bsky.social #runtothesun

“The production was dominated by a screen pumping out the sort of doughy AI slop – clips of “tribal” people, whales breaching, jungles and igloos, dewy forests and butterflies on tower blocks – you’d be disappointed to see on a wall-mounted TV.” 5 stars for this 1 star review @robfitzp.bsky.social ⭐️
This Boyzone reunion was breathtaking in its awfulness — The Telegraph
The Irish band showed clear love for their fans, but both the songs and cheap video clips felt unforgivably dreadful

The Sorcery! series was one of a kind, which is why I kept the whole series into adulthood.
I always loved his stuff in the Sorcery! gamebooks. Real medieval art vibes, the polar opposite of the sort of sub-Ren Faire stuff D&D products were doing at the same time.
Hugely influential to me in the early years before acid house took me to the trenches. His peerless work for @fightingfantasy.bsky.social especially lit a fire into my teenage brain, condolences to those closest to him 📚
Hugely sad. We've lost John Blanche. It's hard to know where to begin. He set fire to a generation's imagination, and those fires show no sign of stopping burning. His work very much illuminated the darkness.
What up doe! Said goodbye to Detroit and returned to a mini heatwave here in London. Many thanks to all of this week’s players especially Zainab and Carl ‘69’ Craig 🌎
What up Doe! After a short week in London, sending a postcard from the edge of Detroit (I love this city) 🌆
Four seasons in one day is the order of play this week! But managed to get an afternoon away from the coal face in Brighton 🐙
Seven days in the city, featuring the longest conversation of the week with Claude VonStroke. Must give a shout-out to Andy Earl and his Blackfriars exhibition too 🫖
ALLL THEE VIBES at Andy Earl’s exhibition launch in Blackfriars last night. Got to play a three hour DJ set in celebration and closed out with - what else? - ‘Paint It Black’ 🌚
Still an all-timer for me 💙
BT, featuring Tori Amos - 'Blue Skies' 1996 single charting at #26 in the UK in November 1996, #93 in Australia in January 1997, and #1 on the US Billboard Dance Chart in January 1997. Tori does not appear in the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=axup...
Sad news indeed to wake up to. Tony Stella was one of a kind 🫖
Crushed to read the news that Tony Stella has passed, a truly phenomenal and prolific artist, one of my absolute favorites
Seven days, spanning 1300 miles. London to Ibiza with a day off in Hackney inbetween 🍺
It’s never not a good time to hear this record on the right playlist 📚
