Gotta wake up in 5 hours and besties, this year has been hectic. I feel like I am falling behind on everything and I don't remember the last time I drew personal art. There have been some big life changes for me this year, and all the associated responsibilities, and gotta lock in.

To me there's a huge lack of kayfabe this expansion, like you *know* when characters start to act like plot and quest dispensers instead of, well, characters. I can't even get mad at them because there's such a lack of pretension their actions are their own instead of whatever the writer says.
I do have one salient thought about the contrast between Arator and Zul'jan The idea of having a beloved in-universe character becoming increasingly jaded and reckless, contrasted with a wild card one growing and finding his footing, would have worked so well as a narrative throughline.
NGL using my free time today to play the new chapter of the campaign would have felt like a waste if not for @ranger-ari.bsky.social 's company. Umbric looks good. That was nice. The Null Space segment was interesting. Maybe we get VE paladins someday? I think that is it.
