i am all for people going & making their own things. it is hard, vulnerable work but also i think animation people in particular really just need to take a couple years where they read some classic books, watch some old movies, etc. so they're not all drawing from the same tiny well of influences

A few years ago after feeling like I was getting nowhere I pretty much gave up on art, now I have the itch to get back into it and it feels like I’m starting over from the ground up. Hopefully I’ll stick with it this time.
