The good news is that the BikeLink lockers at 22nd Street Station in San Francisco are full this morning. The bad news is also that they’re full. I think it’s time for more lockers 😊
Finally used the bike room at my work’s new headquarters in Millbrae. I’ve been using (and loving) the BikeLink lockers at @caltrain.com’s 22nd St Station in SF. Thank you San Mateo County Transit District and Caltrain for providing so many options for cyclists!

Heard a story on @npr.org about a Somali man who twice voted for Trump but now regrets it after the president’s latest comments attacking Somalis. I’m glad he sees it now, but why didn’t the earlier xenophobic and racist rants raise alarms? Great example of the old “first they came…” warning.

Is it just me, or are more people saying “im-POR-dent” instead of “im-POR-tant” these days? It’s a “t” to “d” consonant shift and “a” to “e” vowel shift.
Great news for those using e-mobility to close those first/last-mile gaps with transit.
Effective immediately, electric scooters and electric bikes (non-gas powered) are allowed on our buses. Scooters must be either folded or stored away. Electric bikes can be brought inside the bus if the exterior bike racks are full. To learn more: https://www.samtrans.com/rider-info/bicycles.
One of my favorite Transit Month activities is when the heads of the Bay Area’s transit agencies (including @samtrans.com and @caltrain.com) do a ride-along together and riders can ask them questions face to face. This year’s ferry to train to bus excursion was through the North Bay.
The views from SamTrans bus routes 294 and 117 are outstanding. It’s Bay Area Transit Month — good excuse to ride them and see for yourself.
