Agree this should've been a 2 part TNG episode, they could've cut out all the padding and tightened up the story to shorten the runtime. They needed to address the biggest plot hole, why not share the planet? Maybe the youth thing only happens on this continent

Have people stopped using grammar now? There have been multiple Insta posts where I've noticed no grammar or only full stops have been used. I've had to read the writing several times before I could truly understand how it was meant to flow and what was being said
