This is in my local television viewing area and I expect it’s in direct response to the nominations last night. But it shows how far reaching some ideas are and how scary they are to these extremely conservative people. I voted, and I’m in the minority.

While we in the US strain to decide which Democratic Party nominees proceed to a general election, China which doesn’t GAS about elections continues to find ways to innovate in the 21st century. We have to solve this us versus them mentality soon or risk being left behind. IMHO.

Excellent article! I'd add that the ruling coalition of republicans is fracturing before our eyes. They are losing the support of any republicans who aren't dyed in the wool fascists and it's playing out in the news every day. You can only govern if you pay attention to everyone, not just one voice.

I know that there are journalists who would ask the hard questions of this administration. But national news isn’t going to give them the job of covering the WH because they would ask hard questions. It’s more of a country club, where you are expected to act civilly. But that’s so 20th century.
