By a hateful presidential administration. We refuse to let the Trump administration scapegoat the LGBTQIA+ community. Join us, Penn AAUP, and our allies tomorrow 20-Mar @ 12 PM if you think Penn should do more to combat the hateful rhetoric of the Trump admin. Laws without morals are useless. (2/2).
175 million dollars in federal funding to Penn has been frozen. RAPUP-UAW stands in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, which is why we, and 6 other campus labor organizations, are encouraging Penn administration to refuse to comply with any dictatorial and autocratic directives issued (1/2)

Over 200 protesters in Philadelphia gathered outside Senator McCormick’s office to protest recent cuts to NIH funding. NIH funding creates jobs and advances new cures to the clinic. Senator McCormick could not be reached for comment (shocker).
Next Wednesday, 2/19 at 12pm, higher ed workers from across Philly are rallying to tell Senator McCormick: Hands Off our Healthcare, Research, and Jobs! Science and education are under attack. Join us at 2000 Market Street to fight back! RSVP here: labor4highered.org#register
Lindsay Fernandez is a cancer researcher. She’s afraid the cuts that the Trump Administration is making won’t just hurt us now, but will discourage researchers for years to come. We need to listen to our researchers. It’s time to invest in science - not cut it. @higheredlabor.bsky.social
