There is no Ishgardian Grand Company because we actually have a state military force and not a very loosely regulated militia. That said, I am glad for it because I can guarantee you nepotism would have made certain house heirs leaders and some of them are ill suited for it.

I still jealous of Joye's hair trick tho. I think it increases damage done tenfold and should not be contained from me. Imagine shooting someone's kneecaps off as part of negotiations AND looking hot as fuck.
