Reporter: Are you concerned, Mr. President, about the latest inflation number which came out this morning? Trump: No, I love it. I love the inflation.

It was a great pleasure addressing a bipartisan group of House and Senate interns on the Constitution and their own role in shaping the future of American democracy. These patriotic young people are helping make Congress and government work for all our people.

Most Americans agree with House Democrats: stop spending our tax dollars on ICE and Border Patrol’s lawless, violent campaign against our own people. But Trump’s enablers in the House want to send another round of billions to fund Trump’s reign of fear and violence.

This isn't about one slush fund or one president. I've introduced legislation to stop any president from using taxpayer money to bankroll their political allies and score a family sweeping Super Pardon. Congress must act urgently to ban these ripoff schemes and collusive 'settlements.'

On D-Day, thousands of brave Americans descended on the shores of Normandy, risking their lives for our freedom and democracy. Today, we honor their service and pledge never to forget their nobility, dedication and patriotism.

A bipartisan majority in the House voted to rein in President Trump's lawless, profligate and blood-soaked war in Iran. Only Congress can declare war and no such declaration has been made. This is a win for the powers and the wisdom of the legislative branch.

President Trump's extraordinarily corrupt slush fund would funnel $1.8 billion of taxpayer money to his political patrons and January 6 white nationalist foot soldiers. While the courts blocked the DOJ scheme for now, Congress still must act to bar this dirty deal forever.

This Pride Month let’s resolve to keep defending the civil rights and liberties of our LGBTQIA+ neighbors and of all Americans against authoritarian clampdown.

Springsteen spoke for America last night from Nats Park when he said Trump's $1.8 billion slush fund is "an American outrage." The people’s representatives in Congress cannot allow hundreds of millions of our tax dollars to be showered on MAGA partisans and white nationalist foot soldiers.

The Trump Administration is abruptly closing two USDA childcare centers for federal workers, giving families less than three months to make new arrangements for their kids. If this administration is so “pro-family,” then USDA should immediately reverse this action.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor our patriotic service members who gave the last full measure of devotion to protect our democracy and our liberty. May their memory be a blessing to their families and to all who cherish freedom in America.
