New York’s voluntary intoxication loophole makes it nearly impossible for survivors to seek justice if they drank or used substances prior to an assault. Because of this loophole, Jane Doe’s assailants may never be held accountable under the law.
I'd rather have an economy that makes 1,000 millionaires than 1 billionaire.
As hard as it is to believe, that is the actual position of the so-called law and order party.
Fuckface fired a US attorney by email less than an hour after Seattle's federal judges appointed him, and a judge just ordered the man back. The law doesn't let a petty tyrant pick every prosecutor. Blanche and the DOJ are barred from touching him. Good. Choke on it.
