Four years ago today I published a spec trailer for M.A.S.K. Unlike a lot of fans of the franchise who use AI to make fan trailers, I searched for clips the old school way for months, relied on simple After Effects work, and painstakingly assembled everything over weeks. No prompts. Trailer below.

You know it’s love when your girlfriend stops at a random vintage toy store to ask if they have any M.A.S.K. items. They only had a toddler shirt from the 80s, but really, it’s that she thought about me that counts.

I can’t even begin to tell you how happy this makes me. For years I’ve wanted to see M.A.S.K. back in the spotlight. We had a brief ten-issue comic run in 2017, but I want more. Now to get myself the gig writing the film (my idea is not too far off from this comic so far, even the T-Bob tease!).

Last year I took these photos and posted them to all the Facebook M.A.S.K. groups I’m a member of. Several other fans were pissed and insulting, but the moderators kept the images up because they support the message—and I support the LGBTQ+ community. Happy Pride!🏳️‍🌈

My gf is sick so yesterday I drove over to sneakily drop flowers and soup at her door. I could hear her on a work call but she spotted me through the window and thought “I know that hat!” She poked her head through the door as I reached my car. Her smile and joy at seeing me will feed me for days.
