Damet's confidence to stand on this through that abysmal Spring and see through it to where we are now is going to be a case study in coaching manuals someday. #AllForCITY

kansas using a famous St. Louis recording artist to try and dunk on Missouri, beyond the unfunny right-and-wrong bit, is a reminder of how bad that state is at banter. We see the same thing with their MLS team. Just uncreative slop all the time. Drinkwitz was right to call out how lame it was.
Eight teams have played a league match at Vancouver and at Portland so far this year. None with a short week like #AllForCITY just had. San Jose (6 pts) and St. Louis (4 pts) are the only visitors to get a result in each game.

The tiring midfield's inability to get a grip on the second half of games is piling up and the newfound attacking depth can't compensate. Such a shame, because a point in Portland is respectable and there were plenty of highs.

I'm so happy to have Friday night MLS. Even if it's a scoreless draw on a baseball field with awkward camera angles and acoustics. Friday night soccer needs to happen more often.
The pundits grade #AllForCITY a bit harsher than I expected. Words they used to describe this window include: "overall positive" yet "weird", "shocking", and "head-scratching." Most rank us somewhere in the top-10 despite record spending. The Löwen deal seems to carry a lot of the criticism.
Watching the kansas krashout after they netted minus one DP's this window, barring any surprise announcements from the league today, is like peering into a parallel universe where #AllForCITY doesn't replace Klauss, Hartel, and Löwen. It could have been ugly here, too. 😮💨
Corey Wray has covered a lot of ground this year and won back much of the trust and goodwill that his predecessor and boss fumbled. It is remarkable work in such a short period, and I finally feel like the club deserves the benefit of the doubt once again. Let's go win some games! #AllForCITY

Navarro was St. Louis’ top target all summer.
Last three for #AllForCITY have a -1.58 xG differential and a pattern of severe dropoff in momentum after 60'. The self-inflicted lack of depth is catching up to them and the alarm bells are ringing. Navarro will absorb some of this load, but they still need more guys Damet can trust ASAP. (1/4)

I still think about this. I'm convinced Wray's boss is overcorrecting from 2023/Lutz. He instructed Wray to ignore the table this year and exclusively prioritize the future, promising Corey he would not be judged on 2026 results. This lens explains a lot of Wray's decisions and comments. #AllForCITY
Raviown Goals@raviowngoals.bsky.social · 3mo agoIIRC, Wray made a comment a while back that any moves were unlikely to materially impact this season and the focus was on preparing for the sprint season. The question is not if, but how late. Hopefully the boys can bank some points early so if help does come later, it isn't too late for 2026.
Today was our family's first practice in the CITY Futures Fall session. It's refreshing to connect with #AllForCITY at the community level. A nice break from the senior team's deconstruction drama, and a good reminder of the joys of free-to-play soccer with your neighbors.
