Pank got it on by literally standing on it, while I pushed 😅 After some fenagling around it's finally set up! 4 gallons of distilled water with enough room to add a coolant pack. I sealed the holes on the outside with big globs of hot glue so they don't leak if I overfill it This is so much nicer!

the inside of a green 5 gallon plastic bucket. a small pump is at it's bottom, connected to a hose that goes out of the bucket at a hole near the top. A return hose, power cable for the pump and a temperature probe come in via more exact holes.the bucket, now sealed with a screw-on lid underneath a table.

I'm building a new reservoir and wanted to put on this cool, air tight lid with a screw opening to limit dust ingress... MY ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT IS NOT ENOUGH TO PUT THE FUCKING SEAL RING ON D:< bit at a loss for what to do... guess I'll see if I have enough long clamps <_<

Laser cutter's coolant reservoir (5 gallon bucket) sprung a small leak for no discernible reason, leaving me with a puddle of slightly chlorinated water and no laser cutter till I replace it. how does a plastic bucket that has been sitting alone and untouched underneath a table spring a leak?

posting this screenshot from the USPS bulletin about price increases because people seem to be ignoring the most important words in the highlighted sentence: that commercial clients with pre-negotiated rates (ie: pirateship, shipstation, etc) all have their own deals and are not blanket-affected.

on that note: I'd love to add a chiller to the coolant system so I don't have to submerge coolant packs in the water during prolonged use That's not a problem in itself, but anything going in and out of the distilled water WILL introduce contaminants and increase the conductivity (bad!) and 1/2
