Oh this game is purdy. Checking out Beast of Reincarnation. There are some odd technical issues, and hopefully some patches will iron that stuff out soon.. But underneath that is a fun game with cool combat and an intriguing atmosphere so far! Definitely has some Nier and Stellar Blade vibes.

It took me over 45 hours but I made it all the way down to floor 100! All other spice levels completed, got the additional ending plus final treasure. It was a little bit of a grind but I didn't mind too much, this was such a blast to play through and the final final boss was really cool!

Since Splatoon Raiders is my entire personality right now so I had to pick up these themed grips, I love them! The little squid confetti pieces 🥰

I will admit, I was starting to get sequel fatigue, but Spiderman Brand New Day surprised me with emotional depth and might be up there as my second favourite in this quadrilogy. Loved the beautiful NYC montage as well, they did a great job of transforming Glasgow 😅 And Punisher is hot.

Finished the main campaign missions in Splatoon Raiders! Extremely fun and addictive, easily one of my favourites this year, and I found it hard to put down. 10/10. Plenty more for me to do, so I'll be chipping away at the extra stuff next! If anyone wants to do co-op raids, hit me up!

Happy 25th to Max Payne! One of my favourite games of all time. Met a lifelong friend discussing it on a forum and we still have the game to thank for that. I've replayed it countless times since and will continue to do so. Hope Remedy is brewing up something special for the upcoming remake!

I'm ready for guitar rhythm games to make a comeback. Along with dance mats and light guns. Literally just turning my gaming space into an arcade would be great.

If everyone was a PC gamer I'm convinced that Square Enix would find a way to charge people extra for game editions with exclusive access to HD textures and RT support.

Well it took me a month, but The Adventures of Elliot = completed! Stunning graphics, simple but fun gameplay, and a soundtrack that'll probably be staying on loop now. Maybe a bit repetitive at times, but I loved the story, with some great dungeon design and enemy encounters. Solid 8/10.

I now fully understand the hype for Widows Bay. Easily some of the best TV I've seen this year. Loved the balance between humour and drama. Gonna be hard to wait for a new season, but glad it already got renewed!

If Sony kills physical media in 2028 and Xbox comes out with an “here’s how you lend your games” style E3 callback, that would be a hilarious reverse-uno moment in gaming history. Probably won't happen since we're in a dark corporate greed timeline, but the thought tickled me.

Some cheeky Lego building before bed. Rob surprised me with the rocking plants botanicals as a little anniversary gift earlier in the month, so my other happy plants now have frens 🥰

Credits rolled on the true ending of Star Fox! Did a couple of alternate route runs too, with more still left to explore. Really enjoying this as someone who never properly got into the series back in the day. And the visual glow-up is really impressive.
