Just won a pokemon battle because my opponent had one pokemon with a life orb and one pokemon with a burn and my only pokemon was at full hp and focus sashed, and they decided *not* to double attack for some reason. Both the opponent’s mons go down and my delphox lives on 1 hp. Tears in my eyes.

I haven't looked into it yet because I'm still a baby learning basic principles, but I know Godot has a TextureProgressBar node that the docs stated would be good for more complicated health or progress bars and such. Wonder if the functionality in there would help

Unsolicited #writing advice: realizing that visualizing scenes in my head and then writing that vision down on the page was holding me back was one of the biggest leaps I have made in my entire writing journey. The sooner you realize that prose is not a camera, the sooner you realize its potential.
