50 years ago, in May 1976, RCPI Faculty of Occupational Medicine met for the first time. The first faculty meeting was held in No. 6 Kildare Street.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: Ten Group Classification System | 3 June In June, RCPI Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists will hold a webinar focused on the Robson classification system for classifying pregnant women.

This two-day virtual workshop is for doctors looking to use the software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyse their research. Participants will learn to navigate SPSS features, and produce outputs and reports based on data analysis.

The upcoming webinar by RCPI Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists will explore how modern diagnostic tools are transforming the early detection and evaluation of fetal conditions, ultimately improving clinical decision-making and outcomes.

Last month, the last workshop in our Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) programme for RCPI trainers was held in St Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny.

📢 We are thrilled to announce the new dean of RCPI Faculty of Pathology is Dr Shari Srinivasan. Dr Srinivasan is a chemical pathologist at Beaumont Hospital. She was the chemical pathology clinical advisor to the HSE Laboratory Services Reform Programme from 2022-2025.

The upcoming Spring Conference by RCPI Faculty of Occupational Medicine will feature a session on respiratory conditions at work such as Silicosis and lung disease.

Last month, RCPI Faculty of Pathology held its annual Admission Ceremony.
