Premature optimization is the root of all evil (Don Knuth, I think). Simple is better than complex (and complex is better than complicated).

This is not random political trolling. They are mocking a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling that he was improperly deported and should come back.
You can stop checking. The convention selects the veep and always has. The sitting veep has no special claim—witness Nelso Rockefeller in 1976 or Henry Wallace in 1944.

Winning a Republican primary by 20 points seems underwhelming to me, but I guess it’s better than “the polls were wrong again.”
