I love Prog rock Oilers Elks and donairs but sweet potatoes make me throw up (literally). I teach a bit too.
@theelksherd.bsky.social well the Elks offence lost that game for them. D was great in the second half. Sp. teams was fine other than a crucial miss by Blanchard. Korte had the worst game I’ve ever seen him play. WRs unfocused and key fumble by Rankin. Can’t go 1 for 6 in the red zone. Too bad.
Elks completely folded after not going for it on 3rd and 1. Players lost all their focus and drive. Coach didn’t believe in them. Huge let down and error by Kilam. #GoElks
@zorknapp.bsky.social hi Mike! Loved the new podcast. Have you had a chance to read Play Me My Song: The Music of Genesis by Philip Stichtenoth yet? Really worth the read.
What is the purpose of playing Fajardo in a nothing game? Maybe give the other guys a shot?
For next season the Elks are in decent shape. The fixes needed are: Better O-line Better D-Line New place kicker New O- Coordinator Fix those and they will be a winning team.
Second game vs Hamilton a receiver drops an easy one in the end zone and the Elks lose.
Chalk up another loss on the Elks’ O-line and poor coaching. Every other game it seems.
Cody having his worst game as a starter. Why not put Tre in and see if it sparks the team? Cody accomplishing nothing.
Terrible play calling on offence. D is playing pretty good and spoiled by an awful offence. They need to get it together quick. No finish at all in scoring position.
Not sure how the Elks won that but they did and I’ll take it. Boy that O-line better shape up quick.
For the second time in 3 games the O-line has not shown up. Swiss cheese again so far. Gonna be a long night for the Elks.
Amazing what happens when you do different things on first down. Took six weeks but the Elks seem to have figured it out.
@zorknapp.bsky.social Are you going on Cruise to the Edge this coming March?
All doubt should be gone as to who should be in net for the Oilers the rest of the way.
Calling any healer. Please see Calvin Pickard and heal him quickly.
🎗️Moments ago, @booker.senate.gov put on a yellow ribbon pin to highlight the hostages still suffering in Hamas captivity in Gaza during his historic filibuster on the Senate floor. Thank you, senator, for fighting for our democracy and for your continued solidarity.
Sloan concert tonight! Last show on the horizon for awhile. Pun intended.
Pickard completely turned his night around after a shaky first period. Amazing!
