They're welcome to train their AI algorithms on me all they like, it will only make the AI worse

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I posted this on Twitter too, but I’m curious: If you consider yourself to be anti-AI, why?

Been out of the posting game for so long it doesn’t feel natural to me anymore When I was a kid I could post on instinct, this sucks

I’m not posting on here super often but I am enjoying generally how much more positive my TL feels compared to the other place, strongly considering moving over here especially in light of recent news

I don’t really play games anymore but I’ll do this one

Seems like it would be possible to continue the thread over here. I have been monitoring this situation since former bird app got taken over Not committing to anything one way or another, but it would be pretty metal to say that my daily habit outlived the social media platform it was designed for
