Going to Rails World this year? There is a great block of presentations you just have to see! Track 2, Sept 23rd. Starts with @jeremysmith.co @1pm, then @chael.codes @1:45, wraps with mine @2:45 - This year my topic is Hifumi - Rails App Generator. See ya in Austin! rubyonrails.org/world/2026/s...
Rails World 2026 — From Prompt to Rails: An Online Rails App Generator
rubyonrails.org
Rails scales from prompt to IPO. But where non-coders put a prompt to get #rubyonrails, not JS? I built (open source) hifumi.dev to answer that. With RubyLLM chat, Kamal preview & GitHub export. Still MVP, but quite polished :) Use online with OpenRouter API or locally with Claude sub hifumi.dev
hifumi.dev — build Rails apps from a chat prompt
Describe the app. Hifumi plans revisions, drives an LLM through implement → verify → commit, and hands you a clean Rails repo. Bring your own OpenRouter key. No vendor lock-in.

I VERY much invite you to join my workshop at Wroclove.rb - It's a ~3h long journey through Rails + Model Context Protocol, which will leave you with the information needed add MCP to your product. There still are some conference tickets at wrocloverb2026.konfeo.com/en/groups - see you in Wrocław!
wroclove.rb@wrocloverb.com · 7mo agoThere's one important piece that is missing in Rails + MCP integrations — OAuth2.1 flow that lets an LLM act with user's context and permissions. @realpawels.bsky.social joins us to run a workshop presenting how to build a production-ready MCP server in Rails - you don't want to miss it!
Yet another chance to share a stage with @rosa.codes ! Christmas must be coming :)
Vienna.rb@ruby.wien · 12mo agoSave the date! Vienna.rb #66 is happening on December 3rd. Christmas is coming early with @rosa.codes and @realpawels.bsky.social visiting Vienna to give talks! 🎄 Come join, it's going to be a blast! 💎🎉 www.meetup.com/vienna-rb/ev...

I wouldn't have dreamt about it a year ago, but it happened. My talk was accepted at #RailsWorld this year. I plan to go deep into LLMs and Model Context Protocol, which I believe can be a first-class citizen in Ruby on Rails. Hope to see you (who managed to get tickets) there ;)
Please watch this! @jeremysmith.co did a GREAT job showing how to go through a code change like a true pro. No matter whether you are changing a payment gateway or ditching Bootstrap for Tailwind - you'll get the how-to answers in this talk.
Jeremy Smith@jeremysmith.co · last yr.It was a pleasure getting to put together a brand new talk for Balkan Ruby. I'm thankful for the opportunity! This one is about the incremental process of making complex changes to software systems in use. 📺 Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=weIb... 🖥️ Slides: speakerdeck.com/jeremysmithc...
14 days and 10 hours until @balkanruby.bsky.social 15 days and 16 hours until my presentation balkanruby.com/talks/25 - It will be a bit of a "dinosaur talk" - how to get by after 40, but also massively AI/LLM-focused (and how to have fun AI + RoR). I hope to see you guys there! :)
