I want to rebuild my patreon naturally and get back to my original output but it's been pretty hard! I used to update 3 comics 3 times a month and I just haven't been able to get there. The burnout plus getting older may just have permanently altered my ability to make art fast 😔
I also feel like it's a little early to announce since there are only 7 pages so far but I finally started my #hannigram gamer AU fancomic, it took me like 3 years almost to finally start because of the burnout, it's the silliest idea but I'm taking it so seriously and I hope people will like it 🎮
If you haven't been following that long and don't know my projects, last post is my #poolverine fanbook "So You Fell in Love in a Fancomic", it's uploading on my patreon 1st but will be public eventually. Burnout is still kicking my ass but I've worked up to a monthly update. Currently at page 44 🖖

When the ship you're drawing wear the same uniform so they don't have separate color palette identities for you to transfer to other outfits 😔
Glad to see the reactions to "ethical romantasy" but fear that I'm in the bubble, the larger audience will remain indifferent, and it will signify yet another goalpost shift for indie creators (yet filmmakers and big publishers can still do whatever they want)
Someone quick start a campaign to shut down wikiart and replace it with an actual wiki for art that contains artists' full bodies of work with the correct attributions and isn't just an ad site for posters
If this website wasn't chomping at the bit to kick off nsfw folks maybe we could have gotten a filter to separate video/photo explicit content from illustrated/animated so that drawings enjoyers like me could turn off the dick and butthole selfies when they're not feeling it 😔
Hannibal NBC is coming back to Netflix, I haven't been following many hannigram artists for awhile but I hope it doesn't fuck up the fandom like last time lol
Platinum at 216 hrs and I think I'm finished 👍 I did the Impossible mission in 36 min on my first test run so I don't think I can get anything else out of this game 😔 Also it's lonely now and Dollman sucks

I cracked open some comic thumbnails I haven't really worked on in awhile from a script I wrote in 2023 and I'm so mad at the amount of text I tried to fit on some of these pages I definitely used to have this problem more and like to think I've improved?? This is cartoonish, what the fuck
Posting comics these days is miserable because sites don't build any tools for it unless they're a comic-centric website, so I just wanna say I'm really grateful that folks are reading and commenting on those posts! I know it's not the optimal format for backreading 😭

Personally, I turned all the filters off the day I got here and am just cautious scrolling in public. Seeing unfiltered cool smut alongside nice sfw art, movie opinions and cat posts is the ideal social media experience for me 👍
I'll say what Bluesky fails to address in v1.122 They've rolled out a new "adult content" tag applied on an entire account, hiding all their posts from users, including text posts, even if they may be SFW This update, while well-intentioned, defeats the whole purpose of the content filters system
