Won a cursed 28 person 1-slot RCQ yesterday. First fire alarm went off mid-semifinals, hour and a half delay waiting for the alarm company to turn it off, second alarm mid-finals, finished the match in the jack in the box. Successfully turned the frogs gay, happy pride everyone~! Matchups ⬇️

T16ed Hartford to make the PT again! So lovely to be back. Cutter deck was great. Too many people to thank but deck was busted. Get out was an all star out of the sideboard. Played a bunch of extremely crazy matches against very pleasant opponents.
Wheels fell off a little in the morning lmao. Scraped some wins off the pavement after to finish 10-5, good enough for 114th and an RC invite! Opponents were a pleasure and had a blast all weekend. Excited for the next one!

Theory: WotC killed competitive pioneer until we can fully play it on Arena. They’ll simultaneously announce a release date for on arena to coincide with an upcoming RCQ season.
Obligate post Magic tournament social media post. Lost a day two win and in, ended 5-3. Played a bad deck with great vibes in the 10k to expected bad deck results. Had an absolutely wonderful time in each and every single one of my 14 rounds played this weekend. Excited for Minneapolis soon 🙂
The eyeball deck from the PT looked fun so I bought three of them to finish my playset. Conceded the finals of the next two weekend’s RCQs. Can confirm the deck is very fun!

Played Small Town Dimir to 10-5 at the GP for a shiny dragon. Shoutout to Dave Shiels for a lot of the ideas and shoutout to @reavh.bsky.social who went 11-4 with the same list and supplied the ttabes. Deck felt great, wish I’d been able to get a better result
