You know, if Northwestern is gonna go looking as good as they just did against the defending FBS national champs, and SDSU looked as good as they did against Northwestern, the full-proof validity of the transitive property means everyone should be very worried about the Jacks.

How nearly catastrophic was Saturday for Montana State? Had CCSU been able to close out the upset, as a 42.5pt underdogs it would've been the 2nd biggest upset in D1 HISTORY. (For context, Michigan was a 33pt favorite over App State in 2007.)

Ignoring the fact that it's a phenmenal game if you don't have any rooting interest, the Youngstown-SDSU game is also great aesthetics.
SDSU really looking dominant right now. Will be interesting if Youngstown can get some momentum going once they get the ball and keep this game in reach.
Controversial take: Fumbling into the endzone for a touchback is actually a good rule. But fumbling out of bounds should likewise be treated as a turnover.

Lehigh fans must feel GREAT after watching MSU struggle to pull off that win. Their tight game with Dartmouth looks nowhere near as concerning in comparison to what MSU, Montana, and Tarleton have now all shown.
CCSU's murderers-row schedule so far: L at South Dakota (3-0), 59-20 L at Toledo (FBS, 1-1), 63-10 L at Montana State (4-0), 35-30 They seriously should make some noise in the NEC and potentially playoffs if they can sustain playing like today. They're going to be hardened.
So, is USD potentially the best team in the country right now? Montana State surely is no longer the obvious answer.
CCSU trying to win this on hard mode with all of the false-starts, etc.
Maybe should've waited until after Montana State gave up 14 in the first 5 minutes of the second half before posting this. Because probably even more applicable now.
