So I’ve been playing Fable, a game that was ahead of its time in 2004 for having same-sex marriage. The problem is, only a small minority of the game’s townsfolk are queer and it’s random. One town didn’t have a single queer guy. My character was rejected over and over. So I came up with a plan…

I just went to the beach for my 42nd birthday! Sadly, due to my being at least partially ginger, I lasted about 30 minutes in direct sunlight 😅 If I look uncomfortable that’s because I’m about to spontaneously combust…

My Canary Island adventures have led me to a brand new eyeshadow palette! Though my pink is predictably my first choice, I’ll be showing off all these colours over the coming weeks! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷🤍🩵

Hi to all the new followers! I'm a queer author with two novels out: PROUD PINK SKY is set in the world's first gay state, while THE GIDDY DEATH is all about polyamory and nonbinary life. I also love make up! The more colour the better! You can read more about me and my work at redjon.com

I find it astonishing that popular books are *still* killing Queer and Black characters while leaving everyone else alive. I find it even more astonishing that these books get rave reviews and no one even mentions it. We're people. Not sacrificial lambs who only exist to heighten your story.

Before you get snobbish about e-readers, remember that they allow large text for those with sight disabilities, alternate fonts for those with dyslexia, and can be laid down flat for those lacking mobility in their hands. That last point is especially helpful for me right now. Go e-readers!
