And for anyone blaming Lewis for not pitting, just know he wasn’t told to pit during the VSC. He was, however, told after the VSC ended, which he then said no to due to the potential of losing out regardless.

Clearing up the confusion on the Lewis radio. Lewis didn’t deny double stacking the cars. He didn’t get a call. It was only after the VSC that they reminded him he was on Plan B. After that, he made the decision to stay out, hoping another VSC would be deployed during the race.
