I did some research for #GreatHelm today at Meeresburg, the level of violence was impressive as was the attention to detail on the armour. I stayed for the four bouts each showing off different weapons and techniques. #nerdlings #wargaming
Another unit of Orcs done for #Oathmark, tried to give these linebreakers a distinctive colour to separate them from the rest of the horde, I think the red works well. Tried the game over the weekend and I was very impressed. #nerdlings #wargaming
Decided to increase my #Oathmark forces in advance of the new edition, I was missing some heavy hitters so I grabbed a box of @northstarfigs.bsky.social Heavy Orc Infantry, I think these will do the job nicely! #nerdlings #wargaming

Played some #BattleMarch this evening to see what it might be like. I’m hoping we can get a campaign going in the club. It was really fun at 750pts. I’m not sure I’d play it with a smaller force. Four units felt right for the size and to give options. I’ll order the AJ at the weekend #nerdlings

Ever since #stargrave dropped I’ve wanted some space ship terrain. I couldn’t get anything of the right size and scale so finally I cracked and picked up a fighter. I’d prefer something larger! A quick paint job and it’s ready to hit the table. #wargames #nerdlings

The defence of Lastholde, a swarm of bloat flies (top right) have descended on the town attacking the herds in the fields. The Stout Hart Rangers leap to action to defend the village and kill the flies before they can decimate the herds. Playing the next game for Five Leagues #nerdlings #wargaming

The second piece for #ZonaAlfa is done, I prefer the first method of painting concrete, this one isn’t as well defined. I also tried out making some ivy. I think that worked well so I’ll be using it a lot more. #nerdlings #wargaming

The third building for Guards of Traitors Toll is done. This time a forge! I still need to find a forge to put into the side building. I’ll likely have to make one myself but hope dies last. I think I’ll make a stab at some town walls next. That’s all foamwork by the way. #nerdlings #wargaming
I’ve been trying out a few methods to make convincing gorse bushes. While I’m not 100% satisfied with these I think they’ll do fine once they’re combined into a larger clump. Oh and there’s a mini pine tree in the back. Again an experiment but this one needs some more work! #nerdlings #wargaming
For a quickly assembled experiment this shack came out fairly well! Now if only I’d a few more and some fences to go with them I could finally use those Zona Alfa rules I picked up ages ago! #nerdlings #wargaming

Played some #Pillage today, Normans vs. Anglo Saxons. The scenario wasn’t the most balanced and the Norman’s had a hard time claiming the livestock. They did the hoard of silver. The game ended in a draw and much fun was had! #nerdlings #wargaming thanks to @derinselaffe.bsky.social for playing!
I took some time to sculpt some more heraldic devices for the next few buildings in my Traitors Toll city. Now to mix up some silicone so I can easily make copies as it’s hard enough to do these once. I’m using them to indicate the occupation of the inhabitants. #nerdlings #wargaming
The Candlemakers house for Traitors Toll is now done too. Painting terrain, especially big bits like this one, takes ages. I’m having fun and finally seeing the city come together! Can’t wait to play. #nerdlings #wargaming
