Inktober 2026 - Day 12 - Toss Toss a coin to your Witcher, Oh valley of plenty I really had to draw Geralt of Rivia for this one but went with the game version rather than Henry Cavill or Liam Hemsworth. It reminded me I still have the blood and wine expansion to finish

Inktober 2026 - Day 11 - Rescue The rescue isn’t over yet, the barbarian warrior can hear her captors close by. That’s ok with him though, he’s ready for the fight. Channeling my childhood love of artists such as Boris Vallejo and Chris Achilleos for today’s prompt.

Inktober 2026 - Day 9 - Ram The giant woolly rhino is a force to be reckoned with put on the plains. Barbarian marauder tribes will ride them into battle, using them to ram through enemy defences.

Inktober 2026 - Day 7 - Panic Working in forest, the first villagers heard the cracking and breaking of trees and felt the tremors of footsteps. Blind panic set in as they ran from the giant, striding toward their village. Better find an ogre or something.

Inktober 2026 - Day 6 - Ogre After beating the giant into submission, a massive platform is built onto his shoulders. The king of the ogres sits on a throne mounted at the top of this platform, the giant carrying him into battle.

Inktober 2026 - Day 3 - Miniature The tiny forest sprite sits high up in the trees watching, with his red squirrel companion Beck. I’ve loved drawing this pair and the sprite himself is always fun to draw. Definitely more of these guys in the future.

Inktober 2026 - Day 1 - Apple No-one told Snow White to not open the door to strange old women in the middle of the forest. I always thought it would have been funny if the wicked queen had gone by the name of Granny Smith in this part of the story… Happy Inktobermas!!!

A quick figure drawing of @body_art_fitness_ on IG from a while ago today, I’ve not had time to put pencil to paper recently. This was an experiment with Derwent coloured pencils, skin tones in particular for me, trying to get a more natural tanned look to skin rather than my normal paler tones.

The Medusa Kraken. Probably also called Mavis. Pulling yet another ship down to the depths. What does she do with them down there? Who knows? This giant sea menace has been on my to draw list for about a decade now, possibly the 3rd longest on that list actually. #fantasyart

Protector or Jailer? Is she so precious to the dragon that instead of hoarding gold and wealth, this lady is his jewel. Caged is another redraw of an old Inktober piece from 2020 and the main one I’ve always wanted to come back to. Drawn on A3 Bristol using promarkers and coloured pencils

The High Priestess and her acolytes. This started out as a portrait sketch whilst on a break at work but was soon on its way to becoming one of my favourites. Mixed media using promarkers, watercolour markers and acrylic paint, Derwent inktense and metallic pencils on A3 Bristol board.

“Rip” was originally an Inktober sketch from 2020 but always one I wanted to come back to and redraw in colour. What’s ripping through to get to you? Who knows? The original is still over on my instagram if you want to see. Done on A3 Bristol board using promarkers as always, with posca markers.

This started out as an Inktober sketch then became an experiment with my new Windsor and Newton watercolour markers and then became a sort tribute piece to fantasy artists who worked on the earlier DnD rule books. Basically I had absolutely no idea where I was going with this one
