really tough day. taking a break from #DavidsMonthOfMusic and #JackNicholsong for a few days as the operation has really hit me for six. who knew an eye could ooze so much blood?!?! i’ll be back soon in Terminator 2 fashion. hopefully not T3, because that was a bit crap and underwhelming!

does an eye operation today count as an extremely personal partial eclipse? 🤷‍♂️

considering a) the summer we’ve been enduring, and b) the fact some idiotic workmen used bleach to do some cleaning that completely scorched them down to their roots - i think my Paul McCartney roses are looking quite remarkable. resilient buggers that thrive in adversity. just like their namesake!
