Last night I won the primary for MO-08 — but this wouldn’t be possible without everyone using their voice and voting. Now the hard part. We need to get the 50% of registered voters and the 20% eligible non-registered citizens to enroll and vote in Nov. Change is possible when we come together!
So much of Mark Twain Forest is in MO-08. Driving across our vast district I have had the opportunity to take in many of the lush, green views that it provides — and protecting them is worth fighting for.

For anyone wondering, I am concerned about climate change. My rural district (MO-08) is already living it — we’re seeing drought conditions, flooding along the rivers, and the eastward shift of Tornado Alley.
At the same time, the immediate reality for working families here is crushing: we have the highest unemployment and poverty rates in Missouri, the lowest median income, hospitals at risk of closing, neglected schools, and family farms sinking under tariffs, trade wars, and skyrocketing input costs.
